A learning product that has been operating successfully for several year at Madatech - the National Museum of Science Technology and Space in Haifa, demonstrating to children how to fly a helicopter.

The Geomatrix Group technology department presented an improved design for the existing product that was not functioning optimally, and created a product that simplifies and teaches the principles of aerodynamics to children. Film credit from the website of: Aba Science play

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

The Geomatrix Group presented improved design and development of an existing product, while tackling with several requirements:

  1. High product reliability: the product is used constantly during the day by children of varying ages and suffers from wear and tear
  2. Improvement and replacement of propulsion mechanisms: with emphasis on mechanisms that are simple to manufacture and available for speedy replacement when faults occur
  3. Adherence to strict standards of products permitted for child use, taking into consideration fire hazards, toxicity or injury as well as ergonomic adaptation to children of varying ages.

The product, which has been operating successfully for several years at Madatech – the National Museum of Science Technology and Space in Haifa, allows children to simulate
flying a helicopter using pedals that activate the propeller alongside a manual piston that changes the center of gravity lifting the helicopter into the air.

PRODUCT MANUFACTURING

The Geomatrix Group accompanied the production of the product that was performed by the ordering company.
