A configurator (module) that enables assembling electricity cabinets of various sizes and heights compatible with varying field conditions.
The electricity cabinets configurator was developed for Yakir Industries Ltd., and includes fixed components in several assembly configurations that create modular options for assembling electricity cabinets of various sizes, in a wide range of options.
The development process of the cabinets included working with the client company, understanding the precise requirements and responding to the following challenges:
1. Internal mechanisms suitable for high capacity and voltage
2. Assembly without need for soldering and using the minimal number of parts
3. Reducing production costs and ensuring the ease and speed of the assembly
4. Adherence to strict standards including water-proofing, and prevention of explosions due to electrical shorts towards protecting the safety of passers-by.
