The NeuroSmart system is a smart and mobile MER system that uses advanced brain analyses.
The machine, approved by the FDA and CE, has an advanced automatic navigation system and HaGuide software: a software designed to precisely identify subthalamic nuclei (STN) – a group of brain nuclei involved in the memory and work skills.
These allow surgeons to locate the target automatically and accurately.
A continuous flow of data from advanced systems allows access and processing of the data during surgery. In addition, the machine allows repeated broadcast of the data, and provides a review of all the course data, both during and after the procedure.

The Geomatrix Group development department analyzed the system, managed the mechanical development and the engineering fittings during the development process which combined detailed design using the Solid software and off-the-shelf components, while providing a solution to the required features, such as: mobility, light weight and quick folding, alongside considering design, ergonometric, heat and energy issues, weight and size, operation and maintenance as well as target price.
The product is being used in operating theaters in scores of hospitals worldwide.
